Week 93 April 22, 2008

Family,

Sorry I didn’t write you all yesterday. Monday was a holiday here and everything was closed down.

Well another week has already passed by. It’s crazy how fast time is flying by. We’ve been having a difficult time lately in finding investigators. Here in Brazil on the national news it showed a report on what happened in Utah with the guy that has a bunch of wives and was arrested. It said that he was a descendent of the Mormon Church but everyone thought it was saying that it was our church. There were even some members that were confused. So we’re trying to deal with the rumors a little bit.

Yesterday for P-day we had a goodbye party for some of the elders who are finishing their mission here. A member made us some hamburgers and we played soccer for a long time. We all had a lot of fun.

Thanks for all the research you’ve been doing for me for college. I don’t have a lot of time to write today so I’ll have to be fast. I signed myself up for a business class in the morning. I won’t sign up for the electrical class if I need to sign up for a different class also. I can take it when I take physics class. I think I’ll just look at the website a little bit each week and do some research. There’s plenty of time I guess to think and make changes. The important thing is that I’m registered and I have the important classes taken care of.

So how is dad doing now? That’s so crazy that he passed out on the floor at the hospital. I sure hope that everything’s going great for him. What’s this about Thomas hitting a pole with the car? What car was he driving by the way? Does he drive my car or just the van?

Transfers are next week and I’ll be finding out where my last area will be on my mission. There’s a chance that I could stay here for the rest of my mission too. It’s crazy to think that I only have two more transfers after this.

Well I want you all to know that I’m so excited to be here and I love this work and I love being a missionary. Thanks for all of your support and I’ll talk to you all later!
