Family,
This week we were all pretty anxious to find out about the transfers and what would happen. I wasn’t transferred but my companion Elder Santiago unfortunately was transferred. He will be in the same zone as me though which will be really nice. My new companion is Elder Garon. I don’t really know much about him so we’ll see. I will be most likely staying here in Livramento until the end of my mission, which will be really nice too. I’m really excited that I’m staying here.
Last night we had a surprise birthday party for Carla. She has 9 years now and we had such a great time. When we were walking back home from the church yesterday, we asked Carla if she would be able to leave with us to help us teach. She said that she would and everyone ran home real fast. When we finished the lesson we went to her house and there were over 50 people that all yelled surprise and sang happy birthday to her. She was not expecting it at all. The bishop, and about three other families in the ward were invited to go too. It’s so amazing to see how much this family is a part of all of our lives here.
We’re still working on getting the wedding taken care of for Elton and Eliara, the parents of Carla. When they cut the cake, someone asked Carla who are the most important people in her life. We all were waiting for her to name her parents but instead she said me and Elder Santiago. Then when she was cutting the cake, she announced that she was going to give me the first piece of cake. It was really nice of her. We were all laughing after about how much Carla loves us. She’s a very special girl.
I’m doing really great here. I can’t really think of anything that I need and I’ll be able to hold off until the end of my mission. My socks, pants, shoes, and just about everything else have a few holes in them but that’s why I have that sewing kit right?
The weather here is starting to change again. It’s getting a lot more cold and last night we had a pretty big thunderstorm.
Well I want to send some pictures to you all so I’m going to make the email short. Also, Elder Santiago needs to pack his stuff and say goodbye to some people. I hope that you all have a wonderful week and I’ll talk to you later!!!
Thanks for everything.
I love you infinity!!!
Elder Fowler
