Family,
I’m glad to hear that you all had a great Easter! Easter here is pretty big too. I bought a huge chocolate egg that a member makes here and it was way good.
This week we had a lot of great experiences. There’s a new elder who’s living with us, Elder Hackett and this is his first area. He’s learning Portuguese pretty well but his companion is always playing jokes on him. He taught him the other day a phrase in Portuguese to say to the member after eating lunch at their house. He ended up saying that the food was horrible and that he didn’t like it. His companion Elder Vigeta and the whole family started laughing. I kind of feel bad for the elder but it is kind of entertaining to hear some of these stories.
Elder M. Hall from my group is here in the city too which is really fun. He was in my district in the CTM and he’s such a nice guy. Today we’re all going to go play soccer.
We’re having a lot of great experiences and we’re able to teach quite a bit of people. I think this past week we taught at least one person from every religion in the city. We even taught one of the pastors of one of the churches. It was really great this week to be able to bear my testimony so much and to be able to do the Lord’s work here. It’s such a blessing to me to be able to be a part of all of this and to see so many members who have such strong testimonies. I want you all to know that I love being here in Brazil and I love serving the Lord. I hope that you all have a wonderful week and I’ll talk to you all later! I love you all!!!
Thanks for everything mom. Let me know next week how it goes with the counselor and with my scholarship and getting registered. I owe ya big time for all of this.
I love you infinity!!!
