Family,
This week was a great week for us. We had a baptism of a boy named Moacir. He’s 17 years old and is already planning to go on a mission. He’s the brother of Carla and Elton who were baptized a month ago. Their parents are going to church now and are starting the process of getting married and will soon be baptized too. It’s been a lot of fun to see that change in him.
This week will be a very busy week. We have zone conference this Thursday for the whole day and then this Saturday and Sunday is general conference. It’s going to be a very uplifting week and I’m very excited.
Last night I got a phone call from one of the elders in Uruguay. We talked for a while and we planned an activity for this next Monday where we will get all the elders from the city and Uruguay and the ones here in Brazil and we’re going to make pancakes and maple syrup and play soccer and basketball and football. I’ve already talked to the mission president and he said that we can do it. It’s going to be so much fun.
I’m so glad that the scholarship is all taken care of. Thanks so much for everything. Hey I was wondering if you would be able to send me a recipe for cookies and pancakes. There are some people here that would like a copy.
That’s so awesome that Joel is home now. It will be so great to see him again. I’m glad to hear too that Anna is having fun practicing for tryouts in cheerleading.
We’re having a lot of great experiences here. There are a few families that we met this week who have a lot of potential and we’re excited to teach them again this week. There’s really nothing better than teaching someone who wants to be taught and who wants to make changes in their life.
My companion is an awesome missionary. Elder Santiago has a lot of desire to work and to help people here. We get along great and we’re having so much fun together.
Thanks for everything Mom. Let me know how things go with getting me scheduled for my classes. Thanks so much! I hope that you have a great week.
I love you infinity!!!
