Family,
This week we had the baptism of Jurema. She’s a very nice lady who has 11 kids and is very excited to stay active in the church. We were planning on her being baptized on Sunday after all the meetings but she said that she got a call from her daughter in a different city who is will be having a baby this week and she needs to leave on Thursday to stay there with her. So we did the baptism on Saturday night so she would be able to receive the Holy Ghost on Sunday.
We have been having a lot of great experiences here and this week will be another busy week for us. It is the last week of the transfer already.
This morning I bought some Gaucho clothes here. They are really nice and here it’s a lot cheaper than any other city in the mission. If I end up being transferred, at least I’ll have the clothes. I really hope I don’t get transferred though. I’m having so much fun in this area and I’m really enjoying working here.
That’s too bad about the package Grandma sent me. I was starting to wonder what happened but I thought that maybe it just is taking extra long. I’ll be excited to open it when I get back.
Thanks for helping me sign up for college. Have a great week and I’ll talk to you later!
I love you all!!!
