Week 68 October 29, 2007

Family,

Are you all excited for Halloween? Make sure to eat extra candy for me. I’d buy candy here but it’s so expensive. M&Ms, snickers, skittles, they’re all really really expensive and even harder to find.

This week was an amazing week. We are having a lot of success here in finding people that want to be baptized but no one here is married and most of the people can’t afford the cost of a wedding. To make things worse the price of a wedding just increased so it’s going to take a little longer for some of our investigators to be baptized. We have a lot of amazing people that we’re teaching and we’re having a lot of fun.

This week we had the hottest day so far. It already feels like summertime here but we still have one and a half months until summer technically starts.

There’s a family that we’re teaching right now that’s progressing really fast. One of the girls has a baptismal date marked for the 10th of November. We are trying to mark some other people for the same date but we’re trying to work out the whole getting married thing.

Things here in Brazil couldn’t be better. We’re working hard and I’m having so much fun here.

I hope that everythings going great for you. Thanks for the pictures of the remodeled cabin. It looks amazing! Have a great week and I’ll talk to you later!

I love you infinity!!!
Elder Fowler
