Week 69 November 5, 2007

Family,

I hope you all had an awesome Halloween! I never really heard anything about Halloween here. It’s good to hear that you all had fun.

Yeah I heard about the California fires here. I’m glad that it didn’t reach Corey and Sarah’s home.

This week will be very exciting. We’re planning on having a wedding on Saturday for Sônia and Melo. They’ve been ready to be baptized for a while now but never had time to be married. We’re going to go to the Cartório today and they’ll be married in the church on Saturday if everything goes as planned. They’re such a wonderful family and it’s been so much fun teaching them.

This week I think I ate more food than any other week in my life. On Friday I ate breakfast, a huge lunch- the sister in the ward put a huge steak on each of our plates, we ate cake at 3 of the houses we visited and had 2 dinners. I felt like I was going to explode and the next day I was kind of sick from all the meat I had eaten.

We’re teaching a woman named Alessandra and she is so kind to us. She has 2 little kids and she wants to be baptized but her husband doesn’t want to marry her. Two days ago, she asked him to marry her but he said he’d think about it. Most of the husbands here make me so mad.

This week was a very good week for me. I had a lot of spiritual experiences in teaching our investigators and it was a very effective week.

I hope that you all have a great week.

I love you infinity!!!
