Week 66 October 15, 2007

Family,

It’s great to hear that the ward asks how I am. Nate must be pretty excited. That’s so great to hear that he’s getting married soon.

This week I want to download the talks from general conference and put them on a cd so I don’t have much time today. Well all is well here in Uruguaiana. Today we’ll be playing some soccer so I’m really excited. It’s been a long time.

Irmá Rosa was supposed to come to the city on Saturday to buy some clothes and stuff to sell in Alegrete. Me and Elder Luciano did a division during lunch so that we would be able to see her. We walked all the way to the center of the city and found out that she didn’t end up coming here this week. We were pretty sad that we missed the chance to see her but who knows maybe we’ll have another chance to talk to her.

When I said that my companion is crazy I meant it in a good way. We get along really great- although a lot of people told me he was a hard companion. He is very nice to the members but he is very straight forward too. He’s a great guy and we’re going to have a lot of fun this transfer.

There’s a lot of things here that are really cheap. I’m going to buy my gaucho clothes here and the stuff I want to take home because there’s really not another city that sells stuff cheaper than here

The ward here is very cool. We have a few investigators that are progressing a long great and will be baptized the 27th. We also have a few families that we’re trying to marry. The area here is a little smaller than Rosario but there’s plenty of work to do.
