Week 36 March 21, 2007

Family

Well myldsmail isn’t working right now for some reason. I looked on my msn account and was glad to see an email there. We have Zone Conference on the 30th and I’ll be getting the medicine for worms. I found out that I’ll be able to watch General Conference and most likely in English. It would be kind of weird hearing President Hinckley talk in a different voice.

I’m really glad that you’ll be able to send the retainer off today. Yeah I’ll hopefully get the package before the conference and I’ll talk to Sister Mack about it. If I don’t get it then, I’ll probably get it a week after so after, it will be good. After this transfer, I’ll most likely end up staying in this area still. My comp will go home after this transfer and I’ll stay here for another 6 weeks. I’ll end up staying here in Alegrete for 7 and a half months. I really do like the area, but my comp, well let’s just say I’m kind of excited for this next transfer. These last few weeks it’s been pretty interesting. We’re not fighting but not getting along. We’ve been together for the last 4 and a half months so he’s probably getting kind of sick of me. He just wants to go home. I just need to get through this transfer and everything will be good.

That’s great that Ben is taking swimming lessons at that new rec center. Are you all getting the season pass there or is it really expensive? It sounds like Jake is tearing up the court in basketball. I can’t imagine him being taller than mom. Happy Birthday Thomas!!

This week wasn’t a very great week for teaching. Our baptism- Sandra didn’t go to church when she was able to so she can’t go for another 2 weeks because of work. She still has a desire to be baptized but I don’t know when it will happen. This next week should be a lot better. I’ll be able to give you better information about the baptism then.

We had a family night this week, which was really great. There were about 15 people there and it went really great. After we ate sardine pizza, which is usually the dessert here. I took some pictures and I’ll have to send them next week.
