Hey!
This week we had Zone Conference. I gave a spiritual experience of when we were teaching a family this last week. We had a great conference and learned a lot. We also had a great lunch and they brought in this dessert that was amazing. I ate until I really felt like I was going to throw up.
To answer some of your questions, yeah I’m feeling a lot better. I’m not completely sick. I think I already have a worm in me. I’m not completely the same yet. I called Sister Mack and she says that the next conference I’ll get the medicine.
My comp was sick this week. He had some bad asthma problems. He woke up and was coughing all day. His lungs were hurting him and we didn’t work for 2 days so I just pretty much read the Book of Mormon the whole time and had a lot of great experiences.
This week a few interesting things happened. First of all on Thursday one of the elders here in the city had really bad back pain and was having trouble breathing. We took him to the hospital. It was interesting. I really don’t want to have any problems. I was thinking they would do an x-ray but they just gave him a medicine prescription on a piece of scratch paper. They don’t have an x-ray machine so he’s going to have to take a bus to a different city if it doesn’t get better. He is feeling a lot better though and my comp’s doing fine too.
This week was pretty great. We have a baptismal date marked for the 9th of March but it’s not final yet. She still has doubts but she has a pretty strong desire to be baptized. She’s a great lady, Sandra- the cousin of Maria Elaine- and it’s been a lot of fun to get to know her. It’s not set in stone yet but she was willing to set this date as a plan.
Dad- That’s crazy that you worked that much. Hopefully it will die down a bit. 60 hours a week is a lot!
That’s cool that you met with Elder Kikuchi and the Bishop. What were you feeling when you talked to them? Did it feel awkward or did you like talking to them. Mom told me a little bit about it. You’ll have to let me know what they told you and what you felt about it.
That’s so cool that you guys went to that party and played the not so newly wed game and got 2nd place. It sounds like you guys had a lot of fun for Valentines’ Day. I definitely liked how you both said that if you could spend time with anyone else it would be me. Thanks Dad.
I really like your idea of sending letters. I’ll start doing that a lot. I can’t write as much as I’d like. I’ll be able to tell you more in my letters I think. Well I’ve got to head out so I’ll talk to you later.
I love you infinity!!!
