Week 31 February 14, 2007

Hey!

Sorry about last week. I hadn’t been feeling very well and then once I got to the internet place I felt like I was going to faint. Once we left we went to the other elder’s house and then we all went to go play soccer. I wasn’t going to play but then I ended up playing for about a half an hour. That probably wasn’t the smartest thing I could have done though. The sun was so hot and when I stopped I just collapsed on the ground. I did feel better the next day so I guess it didn’t hurt me too bad.

That’s so cool that you and Dad were able to talk to Elder Kikuchi. He’s such a great guy. I remember when he gave you a blessing when you had your surgery. He has been such a good help to our family.

I haven’t gotten your package yet and if you sent it the slowest way then I probably won’t get it for a while. We have a zone conference this Friday and that’s when we’ll get packages and letters but if it doesn’t come this Friday then it will be a while till I get it maybe. Oh and I was told that if you send packages the slowest way sometimes it goes through Mexico. So as long as you don’t list off the nice things that are in the packages we should be ok. You’ve always done really good with that just saying missionary supplies on the packages. What kind of stuff did you put in the package so that I’ll know that nothing got stolen?

This week was pretty good. Our area is still really hard to work in. We have one investigator that is potentially progressing but that’s about it. Every one of our investigators just won’t go to church. Me and my comp this Sunday did a division with some members so that we could pick up all the investigators that said they would come. We each had about 4 or 5 houses to go to and we both weren’t able to get anyone to come. I guess that’s where persistence kicks in huh?

This last week we had a family home evening again with a member. Almost every time we have a family home evening the dessert is a sardine cake. It sounds gross but after eating it so much it’s actually not so bad. At first I had to force it down with drinking a lot of juice but now it’s not too bad.

The weather is starting to settle down. Once this month’s over it will start to cool down a lot. I’m looking forward to the winter season here. It’s supposed to be really cold, I’m excited.

I sent some pictures to Dad so he’ll have to show you guys. I hope that you have a great week and I’ll talk to you next week. Oh and is LOST still going on there? When does the season end? I’ve heard Sister Rosa talk about the second season. I guess Brazil is watching the second season right now and she keeps asking me what happens. Well we’re going to go get something to eat and then go play some futebol. Have a great week and I’ll talk to you next week.

I love you infinity!!!
Elder Fowler
