Family,
I’m glad that you all had a great week. It sounds like Ben had a very fun birthday party. I received one package this last Thursday and I will probably receive the others this Thursday when we have a conference in Alegrete. It’s our Christmas Conference. Thanks so much for sending chocolates and food and stuff for Thanksgiving. I really appreciate you putting the time and money in sending it.
I’m really glad that Amelia is responding and isn’t in a coma anymore. It’s great to know that we have such a wonderful family that cares so much about each other.
It’s so funny to read about your reaction to seeing a mouse. I can picture it perfectly as if I was right there. Yeah I’ve seen a lot of mice here. A lot of homes here are made out of cheap wood and there’s holes in the floor and it’s so easy for animals to get in. I’m more worried about tarantulas than mice though. In my apartment, we only have spiders and cockroaches no mice.
This week was a good week but also a bad week. Me and my companion didn’t get along too well. We ended up having an argument Saturday. It was the first time in a long time that I’ve been really mad at my companion. I felt like everything that went wrong he put on my shoulders and wouldn’t take responsibility at all. I think he was mad at me because I was mad at him and then we ended up not talking to each other at all on Saturday.
When Sunday morning arrived we went to church and we were at Priesthood and I realized how stupid it was for us to be arguing like that. I got up the courage to talk to Elder Corrêa and we went into another room and I apologized for everything and I told him that I didn’t want to have any bad feelings for him. He also apologized and instantly we were best friends again. It was the weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced. I was concentrating so much on the things that he does wrong but when I finally let it all go and apologized I could feel the biggest rush of relieve and it was so nice. It was a great experience for me and an important lesson learned to never hold feelings against anyone.
We had a baptism this week of Rosário, the mom of Natalia that was baptized last week. She is such a nice woman and it is absolutely amazing to see the change that has happened in their family. I remember first teaching them and seeing what kind of lifestyle they have of going to parties until early in the morning and drinking and it is incredible to now look at the girls in the family and see the desire in them to go to church and to do what is right. Natalia yesterday was called as the ward camp leader.
Elder Corrêa is doing a little better. This morning we woke up and he said he was feeling a lot of pain and we went to the hospital again. He took a shot but the doctor says that he just needs to keep away from heavy foods and everything will be fine. He’s doing a lot better now.
I hope that you all have a great start of the month of December. I love you all and until next week!!!
I love you infinity!!!
