Family!

That’s great that you were able to hear Pres and Sister Mack talk. Yeah Sister Mack is really funny. She cried sometimes when she would visit missionaries’ houses because they were so messy. Luckily that’s never happened to me. President Myrrah is a great mission president here. He’s a little bit younger (he’s got hair still) and he’s got a great vision on things. It has been an exciting time here on the mission although we do miss Pres Mack.

That’s so awesome that you guys ordered Lobster. How exactly did it work? They brought it to you guys but you were the ones that had to cook it all? That sounds like so much fun.

Well today I have a year on the mission. It’s passed by pretty fast and from what I hear it only goes by faster so I’ve got to live it up. This week was another week full of teaching. We were able to make a lot of progress with our investigators. This week was Family Night week. We had a lot of family nights and they were so good. We watched church films and answered a lot of questions. It was great. On Saturday was had a Family night with two families of investigators. These two little girls (8 and 9 years old) showed me some of their pictures that they drew. Then they said they wanted to show me their little dolls. Then in front of everyone one of them said, “I have a question. Do you have a girlfriend?” Everyone busted out laughing.

This week there was a soccer game of Brazil vs. Argentina. The two countries really don’t like each other. It was the final of some Soccer tournament here. Brazil won 3-0. That was a big event here.

This week we taught an investigator that said he was doing better with alcohol. But one day this week we went to his house he was drunk. It was probably the most hilarious situation I’ve been in my life. He started talking about the most random stuff and then he asked me what country has the cutest girls. He also sang to us some songs.

Next week we have three baptisms planned. It’s Wagner’s brothers.
