Hey!
Well Stake Conference was very good. Sister and President Mack were there and they gave a talk. We also had a seventy there that talked. He talked about the Atonement and it was very good. I was able to understand mostly everything. There were some words that I didn’t know but I can usually understand a lot when people talk about the gospel.
This week our investigator with the baptismal date started to have problems. We could tell that something was wrong with her but she said that everything was fine. One day we went there and she told us that her neighbors had told her how horrible our church is. They also told her that missionaries are spies for the U.S. Government. After clearing that up with her everything was fine and she is excited for her baptism this Saturday.
I can’t believe that Jake broke his arm. That really stinks. Especially since he won’t be able to play any sports. This week is the last week of this transfer. So, next week I’ll have a new companion. My companion Elder Ferreira has been here for six weeks so I’ll be the one staying here. I’m really glad cause I really love this city.
That’s awesome that you guys have Christmas lights up. I’m way excited for Christmas. I still don’t know what’s going to happen and what we’ll be able to do for Christmas but I’m way excited. I also got one of your packages. I’ll probably get the second one this next week during the transfer.
I got a letter this week from Elder McLeod. He is home right now. It kind of made me sad and frustrated but I guess its all for the better. He was such an amazing guy and did everything he could- getting blessings, praying, fasting. I was really glad to hear from him though. He’s going to go to a semester at the Y and see where it takes him. The earliest he could return to a mission is in 6 months.
Well it was nice to hear from Dan. The CTM is a big adjustment. Lots of class time and studying but it really prepares you for the field. I hope that you have a great day and I’ll hear from you next week.
I love you infinity!!!
