Week 100 June 14, 2008

Family,

Hey thanks for the emails from all of you! It was very nice to hear from all of you and thanks for wishing me a happy birthday. I still haven’t received my birthday package but I’m sure that I’ll get it soon. I haven’t heard anything about another strike at the post offices so it will get here soon.

I got a few emails from some friends- Brett Nestman and Denise. It was really good to hear how they are doing. I won’t be able to write an email to them but if you see them tell them thanks for me! They sound like they’re all doing very good. It’s going to be an interesting experience to see everyone again and see how everyone has changed.

It sounds like you’ve all had a pretty amazing week. I’m so glad to hear that Anna had fun in Disneyland and that Jake had fun camping. It’s so good to hear how all of you are doing. I miss you all and I’m excited to see you but I’m very excited for this last month of my mission.

Sorry that I wasn’t able to write you all this last Monday. There have been a few changes... We had a transfer this last Monday and I was transferred! I was almost 100 percent sure that I’d stay in Livramento until the end of my mission. President basically told me that I’d stay but then I got a call that I wasn’t expecting.

On Friday, President told me that he was calling to tell me that I will be the next Assistant. On Sunday night I left to Santa Maria together with the missionaries that were finishing their missions. On Monday (the day that is our P-day) I spent the whole day in the mission office. My P-day along with the secretaries P-day is on Saturday now.
It’s been quite an experience. I’m so excited to be close to President Myrrha. He is so inspired and I’ve already learned so much these last few days.

My companion is Elder M. Lopes. I was in Uruguaiana with him last year. He is such an amazing missionary and we’re having so much fun. We have to do a lot of trainings so during the morning we’re very busy but when we’re in the office with the other secretaries, we’re always laughing and having fun.

Today we’re going to leave to a different city with President Myrrha and Sister Myrrha and the secretaries. It’s a place called Quarta Colónia which apparently has some very pretty places to take pictures.

Thanks again for all of your support. I hope that you all have a wonderful week and I’ll talk to you next Saturday! Oh and I will be home on Wednesday the 16 about 12:00 or 12:30 in the afternoon.

I love you all!!!
Elder Fowler
