Week 95 May 5, 2008

Family,

Happy Mother’s Day this Sunday! I hope that you get the letter that I sent you soon.

Thanks for the package mom! I got it during the transfer. It was really nice of you to send me all that stuff. And I love the tie. The first day I used it, everyone was asking me if I could give it to them or sell it to them.

I’m glad to hear that you’re all doing great- except for the falls that a few of you have taken. I hope that Anna starts to feel better as well as Dad. This week was the first week of the transfer and was really good. We were able to teach quite a bit this week in spite of starting late in the week because of the transfer.

We had Stake Conference this week and it was really nice. President Myrrha and another 70 leader were there and talked and the spirit was really strong. We had some people there that we are teaching and they all had a great experience. They talked about the importance of obeying the commandments and the blessings we receive when we do that. I was really impressed by the talks. After, we went to talk to our mission president and I brought Elton Junior with me who is 11 years old. He shook President Myrrha´s hand and was really excited to meet him.

We have some new members that are living in our house now. Elder Hackett is still here with me and now Elder Paz and Elder Garon are here. It’s been really nice these last few days and my new companion is a great worker. I had heard things before about my companion and I was a little worried at first but he’s a really great guy and likes to teach. We are going to have a great transfer.
I’m really glad that I wasn’t transferred. This could be my last city on the mission, which would be really nice.
