Family,
Thanks so much for the picture! I loved it! It’s great to see all of you and see how big the family is. I had a great birthday here. I didn’t receive the package yet but now I know that I won’t until the 6th of July.
Yeah we fixed the gas problem. We ran out of gas and when we bought a new tank we didn’t have any problems.
Oh and to answer your question yeah I love it when you write a lot on your emails. It’s great to hear about what happened during the week. You don’t have to worry about taking my time to write back. This week however I don’t have the much time to write (but not because you wrote a lot).
The baptism went great this week. Everything was perfect except the water was pretty cold. Elder Salvador baptized him and I confirmed him the following day. They heated up the water for the baptism but then they thought it would be too hot so they turned off the heater a couple hours before the baptism. It was a cold day and Philip is a skinny kid and was shivering for a while after. Only him and his sister are baptized but they are being great examples for their family. We are trying still to get his parents to stop smoking. The dad had a surgery on his head and is taking medicine but he is also drinking a lot which is very dangerous and is causing him to have convulsions every once in a while. His wife went to the hospital because she had such a bad cough and the doctor ordered her to stop smoking. After all that has happened with them they are going to start the process now of quitting smoking.
This week we met a very neat family. They aren’t active in their church and said they are looking for the truth. We’ve been teaching them quite a bit and they’ve been asking a lot of questions. We have good investigators right now that have a lot of potential and it’s been fun being able to teach them.
Me and Elder Salvador have been getting along great. He’s the most honest person I’ve ever met. One of our investigators showed us some of his music from his church. It has a girl singing about Christ and it’s actually not that bad. Elder Salvador after hearing it for a few seconds just flat out said to her that he doesn’t like it. Then he went of listing all the reasons that he didn’t like it. Our investigator was shocked and I tried so hard not to laugh.
Well this week I don’t have a lot of time to write because there have been some problems with the computers. I’m doing great and loving the work. Just looking back on the few weeks I’ve been here in Rosário I’ve learned so much. Thanks again for the love and support you all give me. I love you all!! Thanks for everything. I’ll talk to you next week.
I love you infinity!!!
