Week 16 Transfer to Alegrete, Brazil

Hey Dad!

Well yesterday was my first transfer and I got transferred to a city called Alegrete. It was about 9 hours total on a bus to get here. The city is a lot bigger than Palmeira. I don’t really know much about the city yet so I’ll have to tell you more about it next week.

This last week was a really good week. We taught a lot of lessons and had a lot of investigators at church. One morning this last week I woke up and I thought I was having an allergic reaction. My legs really got attacked by mosquitoes. It’s starting to be summertime and it’s getting really hot. One of the elders here showed me a picture he had of last year that he was here. It was a picture of a thermometer at 118 degrees F in their house. It’s a good thing we have fans here or I’d die! My new house is in some ways better and in some ways worse. I have a closet type thing that I can hang my clothes though so I’m definitely happy about that.

Well you definitely have to keep the Day after Thanksgiving tradition going. Each year it gets worse and worse. This year you’ll have to camp outside of Best Buy right after you finish eating. Maybe you’ll be 30th in line then.

Well, Dad have a great week. I’ll send you some pictures next week. Talk to you later. I love you

Hey Mom!

Well I’ve been transferred to a new city- Alegrete. It’s a lot bigger than Palmeira. I’ll have to tell you more about it next week. I don’t know too much about it yet other than the ice cream here costs $1.50 (same as my last city). Also on P-days I can play soccer and basketball. In Palmeira we couldn’t.

This last week was a good week to end a transfer on. We got a lot done and we taught a lot of lessons. I woke up a few days ago and I thought I was having an allergic reaction. My legs got attacked by mosquitoes in the night and I was covered in bug bites. My legs are doing a little better now but they still itch. The humidity doesn’t help with the bites either.

Yeah I can wait two weeks to find out about LOST. I’ve waited 3 months so what’s another 2 weeks :)

I hope that things are going good with Lilly. She’s a very pretty dog.

Oh and I got a letter today from Ben! Tell him thank you for me. I love reading letters. I’m glad that his two goldfish are doing good. Oh and dad said that he would send me a package sometime of mp3 player and speakers. I forgot to take the address with me of where to send it so I’ll have to do that next week.

Well I’m out of time sorry. I’ll be able to tell you more next week about the area and my companion- Elder Ferreira by the way. Have a great week and I’ll talk to you next week. I love you Infinity!
