Week 15

Hey Dad,

That’s awesome that you guys got a new dog! I love the name Lilly. You’ll have to tell me more about her next week. I’m sorry that it has been hard on you about Lexi. Hopefully this new dog will be able to bring back some good memories of Lexi.

That’s so funny that two people peed at the primary program. I bet you guys were trying so hard not to laugh.

How have things been going at work? Have they started to pick up pace again? Oh and did you buy a new digital camera? You’ll have to tell me about it.

This week here has been pretty good. These last few days were pretty hard. Some of our investigators that we thought were doing really well aren’t anymore. But on the other hand we have a new family that is interested.

Today I’m going to send you a CD with all my pictures on it. I don’t have anything to really protect the CD so I hope that it gets to you ok. Let me know if anything’s wrong with it when you get it.

This week is my last week with Elder Soares. The time has definitely gone by so fast. Maybe next week I’ll know who my new companion is and what city I’ll be in. Well, I’ve got to go. Have a great week and have fun with the new dog. Let me know how things are going at work and home... and LOST. Ha-ha I’ll talk to you next week. Thank you for the emails and I love you!!!

Hey Mom!

Yeah I think that’s great that you’re posting parts of my emails. Thanks for being willing to go through the effort and time.

First of all I love the new dog! I really like the name Lilly. I really think it will be fun for the family. Is it a he or a she?

I wrote you guys a letter this week and I’m sending a CD with about 100 pictures and 2 videos. I hope that it gets there ok because I don’t really have anything to put the CD in except an envelope. Let me know if there are any problems when you get it. This week I received your letter that you send me with a bunch of previous emails. It was very nice to read them and look back.

Well, yeah 24 eggs a week is a lot of cholesterol but I definitely burn it off pretty fast. We do a lot of walking up steep hills. I’ll try to buy more fruits and healthy food too though.

Oh when you’re talking about "Thomas’s car" are you really meaning my car? If you are then the driver’s door does lock. I can’t believe that so much has gone wrong with my car since I left. And now people have stolen stuff from it. That poor car. To lock the door you have to lift the handle from the outside and then push the lock down. Then you can close the door. I hope that it works and you don’t have any more theft problems.

Well I´ve decided that I need to know something that’s going on with LOST. It doesn’t have to be big but what’s happening with the plot right now. I mean come on two years? I’ll probably forget by then what you tell me.

That’s awesome that Dan was able to go to the temple this week. I definitely remember when I went for the first time with you and Grandma and Grandpa. That was such a great experience. I miss being able to go to the temple.

Well this week is my last week in my first transfer. It has definitely gone by way fast. This week we talked to a 17 year old boy and taught him and invited him to go to church. He went to church and says he wants to prepare for baptism. It’s been really great to be part of this great work. Even though I may not be the one that baptizes him, it’s still just as rewarding.

You’ll have to tell me next week how things are going with Lilly and any new tricks he or she has learned. Have a great week and thanks again for the emails. Oh and continue to let me know how your writing is going. I’ve been telling some of the other elders about your writings. Have a great week and I love you infinity!!
