Sam's Safe Arrival

Hi everyone,

I was so happy to hear from Sam's MTC President's wife. I wanted to pass on the update.
Sam is blessed to have such great family and friends. Thanks for being so good to him. Let me know if you notice I've missed anyone's email or if another address is better. I'll try to keep you informed.

Dear Parents, Your son or daughter arrived here safely at the Brazil MTC yesterday. They moved into their room, rested, ate lunch and became acquainted with the building. During the afternoon they had orientation meetings and went for a walk around the neighborhood with a teacher. Today they learned how to pray in Portuguese. The food here is very good. There are always two kinds of meats or chicken, a hot vegetable, beans and rice, lots of vegetables for a fresh salad, lots of Brazilian fruits, a dessert, a popsicle, and several kinds of Brazilian juices. They stay in a room with three bunkbeds with two other Americans and two Brazilians. Plan to come to Brazil to pick them up at the end of their mission. It will be worth the time and expense. You can then relate to them the rest of their life about their mission. Thank you for sharing them with the people of Brazil They will be great missionaries. May you be blessed in their absence.
